The EAP650 is an AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 access point for ceiling mounting, combining 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz with 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz. Aimed at offices and similar spaces, it supports more than 250 concurrent clients across roughly 140 m2 from a single Gigabit PoE+ port.

  • MU-MIMO, OFDMA, 1024-QAM and 160 MHz channels cut latency, though clients need matching support and 160 MHz stays 5 GHz-only, subject to local rules
  • A Gigabit PoE+ port gives fast wired data alongside 802.3at power for single-cable installs
  • Also runs from the included 12V DC adapter or 48V passive PoE
  • Guest access spans up to 16 SSIDs with SMS login, WPA3 encryption and rogue AP detection
  • Mesh and seamless roaming keep clients connected on the move, but need an Omada controller
  • Centralised cloud, hardware or software management, plus Bluetooth 5.2, ease admin
