The ES220GMP is a 20-port gigabit switch from the Omada Easy Managed range, built for larger PoE deployments with 16 PoE+ ports, two further gigabit ports and two SFP slots for fibre uplinks. A 250W budget shares up to 30W per port, with Fast PoE & Perpetual PoE built in, and the rack-mountable metal unit works immediately while open to fuller configuration.
- Cloud and app-based management become available once linked to an Omada controller; the Essentials tier is free, the Standard tier needs a licence
- Extending PoE reach to 250 metres reduces that port's speed to 10Mbps
- QoS and PoE Auto Recovery operate in standalone mode, with recovery handled manually once a controller takes charge
- Port isolation, VLAN tagging and IGMP snooping support segmented and surveillance networks
- Automatic loop prevention keeps the topology stable
